Notice of Public Participation Meeting: Clements Avenue Residential Project

A Public Participation Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers, 400 Main Street, to discuss an application to amend the existing Development Agreement for Lot LP-2, Clements Avenue (PID #90217712).
The existing Development Agreement, approved by Council in 2022, permits one multi-unit residential building with 23 units. The applicant is seeking greater flexibility to permit a multi-unit residential development of a similar density but with a different site layout and building configuration.
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting or submit written comments. Written comments and requests for additional information may be directed to Ning Liang, Planner/Development Officer, at ning.liang@townofyarmouth.ca or 902-742-4864.

Notice of Second Reading: Public Places Bylaw

This is to serve notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth, at its meeting on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 6:30 pm, at town hall, 400 Main Street, will consider and, if deemed advisable, approve second reading for its Public Places Bylaw. Written submissions with questions, concerns, or comments will be considered at the time of the readings. They may be delivered to town hall, or by emailing: admin@townofyarmouth.ca
Public Places Bylaw
Council will consider second reading to amend the bylaw to prohibit urinating or defecating in public.
