The Yarmouth Dog Park gives dog owners and carers a place for off-leash exercise and socializing. The park is between South East Street and Forest Street, beside the Broad Brook Trail, behind the Mariners ball field. It has grass ground cover and two fenced enclosures. Bring your own water. The park is not accessible for people with limited mobility..

Park Rules
- Hours: dawn to dusk.
- Use the park at your own risk.
- Owners are legally responsible for their dog’s behaviour at all times.
- Keep dogs on a leash while entering and exiting the park (Bylaw #20*).
- Pick up dog waste immediately and put it in the designated containers.
- Owners must stay in the park and supervise their dogs; keep a leash handy.
- Handlers must be at least 16 years old. Children aged 9–15 must be with an adult.
- Children under 8 are not allowed.
- Remove aggressive dogs from the park immediately.
- Ensure dogs have current vaccinations.
- Maximum two dogs per handler.
- Fill in any holes your dog digs right away.
- Discourage negative behaviour.
The following are prohibited:
- Human food or dog treats.
- Glass containers.
- Dogs in heat, sick dogs, or aggressive dogs.
- Puppies under 4 months old.
- Smoking, littering, drinking alcohol, or riding bicycles.
- Spiked, pronged, or choke collars.
