The Town tests water regularly to meet Canadian drinking-water standards. New provincial rules require additional tap sampling.

The Yarmouth Water Utility invites residential customers to join a free, voluntary testing program for lead and copper. Testing runs each year from May to October. Participants receive test results and help the utility confirm compliance with Health Canada guidance.

Who can apply: Only Town of Yarmouth water customers (not private wells). A limited number of applications are accepted each year. Priority goes to properties with records suggesting full or partial lead service lines or older properties likely to have lead lines.

How to apply: Complete the online form below and include a phone number and/or email so we can contact you if selected.
