What to do
- Call our Operational Services Department about water/sewer connections and water contracts before you dig: (902) 742‑9423.
- Contact utility companies for electrical and telecom lines:
- Nova Scotia Power (electrical)
- Bell/Aliant
- Eastlink (telecom)
- Arrange for locates and markouts from each utility before starting work.
Why it matters
- Hitting water mains, sewer pipes, electrical or telecom lines is dangerous and costly. Proper locates protect you and the community.
Notes
- Allow time for locate requests—don’t book contractors until locates are complete.
