The Town of Yarmouth is requesting quotations from qualified contractors for the removal, transportation, disposal, and cleaning of the existing anaerobic digester at the Town of Yarmouth Wastewater Treatment Plant, including the temporary handling and hauling of primary sludge during the digester outage.
Closing date is August 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

TOY - 2026 Skid Steer Lease Compost Facility

The Town of Yarmouth proposes to lease two new 2026 or current model year rubber tire Skid Steer loaders for the Compost Facility. The leases will include a two-year term with the option to extend monthly (to a maximum of 12 months). The leases shall include full warranty and a full-service contract during the entire two-year term.

2026-YAR-RFT-01, Route 304 & Trunk 1 Paving Tender
- Details
The project is located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The work of this contract generally includes the supply and installation of all labour, services, materials, testing and equipment to complete the work as indicated on the drawings and work indicated herein. The Work shall include, but is not limited to:
• Asphalt milling of approximately 2-1/2” deep
• Granular subgrade repairs if/where necessary
• Asphalt levelling lift (drag coat), 25mm (nominal thickness) Type C-HF
• Asphalt re-cap, 38mm Type C-HF
• Manhole, catch basin & valve height adjustments
• Shouldering
• Curb replacements
• Driveway tie-ins
• Line painting
• Traffic control
The area includes Route 304 (Vancouver Street) from the town limit to near the intersection at Vancouver St. / Main Street and Trunk 1 (Main Street) from the town limit to intersection at Vancouver St. / Main Street.
