Two public hearings will be held on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers at Yarmouth Town Hall, 400 Main Street.
Take notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth will hold public hearings regarding the following matters:
1. Amend Bylaw 6.11 Election Signs Bylaw
This hearing addresses a motion that council amend Bylaw 6.11, Election Signs Bylaw, found within the Town's Land Use Bylaw. The proposed change is to ban the placement of elections signs on public property while permitting election signs on private property. This would ensure a provision within the Town's bylaws that signs cannot be posted on public land.
