Culture, Parks, and Recreation in Yarmouth – We Have a Draft Master Plan! Last spring, the Town of Yarmouth announced the development of a Culture, Parks, and Recreation Master Plan to guide future planning and decisions relating to culture, parks, and recreation services and facilities. We asked for your input and ideas, and we received it – thank you!
We are pleased to announce that a draft plan has been developed, and we are now seeking the community’s feedback on it.
Sewer Cleaning - Daily Locations

The Town of Yarmouth wishes to advise that annual sewer cleaning is now underway. Cleaning will take place Thursday, October 9th, in the area of Elm Street to Prospect Street, from
Main Street to Pleasant Street.
Notice of Second Reading - Feeding Wild Animals Bylaw

This is to serve notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth, at its meeting on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at 6:30 pm, at town hall, 400 Main Street, will consider and, if deemed advisable, approve second reading for its Feeding Wild Animals Bylaw.
Transit Service Resumes

Town of Yarmouth Transit was taken out of service for the afternoon of Saturday, September 21st. Please be advised that service will return to its regular schedule on Monday, September 22nd.
Rail Trails and Maud Lewis Trail Reopened

Restrictions previously issued by the province on travel and activities in the woods have been lifted for Yarmouth County. As a result, Rail Trails and the Maud Lewis Trail (connecting Parade Street and Starrs Road) have been reopened.
Notice of Public Participation Meeting

A Public Participation Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 23rd, at 6 pm at Yarmouth Town Hall, 400 Main Street. The meeting will allow interested parties to provide their thoughts on submitted applications directly to the Planning Advisory Committee.
