Work began this week on a green project to replace a 100 year old combined line with separate storm and sanitary lines.
The project is moving forward as planned and beginning next week there will be more disruptions to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
➡️ Starting Monday, June 8th, Water Street from Lovitt Street to Public Street will be closed and only local traffic will be allowed for the next 12 days
➡️ The sidewalk on the west side of Water Street from Lovitt Street to Public Street will be closed for all pedestrian traffic
➡️ The lower half of Glebe Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. That means no access to Water Street from Glebe.
We thank everyone affected for their patience and understanding as we complete this important infrastructure project. More updates will be posted as the project moves forward.
