The Ultramarine: Music & Arts Festival combines live music, literary readings, and a visual arts exhibit in downtown Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The festival aims to highlight artists connected to the area who have made their mark beyond the community, provide a platform for emerging local talent, and introduce audiences to performers whose work is too good not to share. Drawing its moniker from a poem and poetry collection of the same name by Harry Thurston, a member of the inaugural festival lineup, Ultramarine is an eclectic endeavor rooted in community.
