Please be advised that a street closures will be in place on Monday, July 13, from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM. The closures are necessary to facilitate paving of the street as part of the Water Street Sanitary Upgrades Project. Please note the following:
- Richards Lane will be closed, and Water Street will be closed from Chester Street to Cann Street.
- Local access to all properties will be maintained for the duration of this shutdown. Properties located between 180 and 234 Water Street (Chester Street to Richards Lane) will be accessible via Water Street from the south.
- Properties located on Gardner Street and between 236 and 258 Water Street (Richards Lane to Cann Street) will be accessible via Water Street from the north.
- Traffic control will be in place. Pedestrians are asked to please follow all construction signs, and to not enter the active construction area. It puts both pedestrians and workers at risk.
Once work is completed, Richards Lane and Water Street will reopen to traffic and pedestrians.
