Important Bylaw Notice

On September 10th, council will consider and if deemed advisable approve the Second Reading of the new "Feeding Wild Animals" Bylaw.

This is to serve notice that the Council of the Town of Yarmouth, at its meeting on September 10th, 2020, at 3:30pm, will consider and if deemed advisable approve the Second Reading of the new "Feeding Wild Animals" Bylaw.

➡️ Under the proposed bylaw, feeding of wildlife such as deer or other non-domesticated animals will become prohibited within the town of Yarmouth.

➡️ Any person who violates this Bylaw could receive a fine of up to $1000.00

At the same meeting, Council will consider and if deemed advisable approve the Second Reading to amend its "Destruction of Documents" Bylaw. The amendment updates language and allows for the clerk to assign a designate who may also carry out document destruction.
