The contract for the 2014/2015 trucking of highway bulk salt has been awarded to G.K. Morse Trucking Ltd. in the amount of $39.93/tonne with delivery during normal working hours for a total estimated contract price for the season of $59,925.00 plus HST.

The tender for the Hawthorne Street Streetscape Project has been awarded Aberdeen Paving Ltd. in the amount of $760,590.45 plus HST.

The tender for the 2015 Compact Cargo Van has been awarded to Murray GM in the amount of $24,245.00 plus HST.

Sealed proposals will be received at the Town Hall, 400 Main Street Yarmouth, N. S. B5A 1G2, until 2:00 p.m., October 6, 2014, for the preparation of a study to review the current governance structure in the Town of Yarmouth, including the number of Council members and polling districts within the Town of Yarmouth, as required by the Municipal Government Act of Nova Scotia every 8 years.
