Repair of Traffic Lights at Highway 101/Starrs Road

Please be advised that repairs will be carried out by Nova Scotia Department of Public Works on the lights at the intersection of Highway 101 and Starrs Road.

Work will begin on Thursday, September 16th at 9:00 am. The first round of repairs are expected to be completed by 5:00 pm. Traffic control will be in place so please expect delays.

Initial work involves pouring new concrete foundations. The concrete must cure for two days, then crews will return to install pole and lights. During the two days of curing, the lights will be flashing 3-way reds (3-way stop).
