Noise Bylaw Amendments (Fireworks)

The proposed amendments would ban the use of consumer fireworks within the Town of Yarmouth, except on recognized religious holidays, Canada Day, New Year's Eve, Natal Day, the Seafest Parade of Lights, and extend the authority to the CAO to provide a written exemption for other similar events. Changes would also require signage to be displayed at retail displays of fireworks, informing consumers of the ban.

All bylaws can be found online at www.townofyarmouth.ca/town-hall/by-laws.html
