Why was it important for you to participate in the facade program?

I participated in the Facade program on this building because it had been vacant for over 10 years and it was in desperate need of repair. The incentive of cost sharing on the facade of this building was the impetus that started me thinking about buying this building.

What impact has your new facade made to your business?

Actually I'm just the owner of the building, and not the operator of the existing business, Happy Feet Orthotics. However, Mike Innis, the current business operator tells me that his business has increased since he's moved into this building and receives constant complements on the front facade. Once I renovated the building through the facade program I found it immediately attracted interests from potential tenants seeking to relocate and to get newly established.
