The house on the right hand corner of Forest and William Streets was built in 1899 for J.M. Lawson, editor of the Yarmouth Herald and compiler of Yarmouth Reminiscences. Notice the columns supporting the balcony, the stained glass and the spiral woodwork pattern. Opposite is the Trinity Rectory, a house in the Georgian style.
