In order to apply for a committee appointment, a citizen should submit a letter of interest identifying the Committee or Board he/she would like to be appointed to, as well as relevant background information to assist Council in understanding the assets he/she would bring to the Committee or Board.  Council normally gives preference to residents and/or tax payers of the Town of Yarmouth when making appointments.  In order to ensure as many opportunities for citizen involvement, Council will normally only appoint a citizen to one committee or board.
