The Joint Emergency Management Executive Committee  is a committee established jointly with the Municipality of the District of Yarmouth.  The mandate of the committee is:

(a) to advise Council on the development of municipal emergency management plans;

(b) to present municipal emergency management plans to Council;

(c) to submit to the Councils for inclusion in their annual estimates, estimates of expenditures for the operation and maintenance of the Joint Yarmouth Emergency Management Organization.

(d) to brief Council on developments during a local state of emergency; and

(e) to perform such other duties as may be required by the Council.

The Joint Emergency Management Executive Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Emergency Operations Centre.

The members of the Joint Emergency Management Executive Committee are:
