The schools in Yarmouth play an important role in directing the future of Yarmouth.  All schools, from elementary to community college, contribute to the development of a strong workforce for the future.  With three elementary schools, one junior high, one high school, and one community college within the Town of Yarmouth, the educational opportunities within the Town are life-long.

Along with our English-based public school system, Nova Scotia also has an Acadian school system, the CSAP (Conseil Scolaire Acadien Provincial). There are seven french schools within Yarmouth County.
