This group is first & foremost a  gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transsexual social group open to all ages and in any stages of coming out. At this time we have about 50 to 60 members throughout South West Nova Scotia.

We provide a safe and comfortable place for the GLBT community to meet new friends and enjoy fun activities.

We hold a monthly Social Gathering in Sobeys community room on the second last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM to update the group on any information that is relevant and organize our monthly events.

We usually plan movie nights, pot luck BBQs, brunches, trips to other communities for events like the Whirligig Festival in Shelburne and whatever other events the group would like to participate in.

In the summer we do on average 4 events a month, in winter usually 2, including the Social Gathering.

A few of our members have, and continue to, speak to groups such as: Gay Straight Alliance youth groups in the local high schools, Nursing students at the Yarmouth campus of Dalhousie University and Human resource class at NSCC in Yarmouth.

We are available to any group or person that would like us speak to them regarding issues of the GLBT community.

We have been a guest on a local radio show, had articles in the local newspapers and have participated in the local Seafest Parade for the last 2 years.   We were proud to have been awarded a plaque for the most colourful float in our 1st parade.
