The Town of Yarmouth has made improvements to our curbside solid waste collection program. These changes came into effect on January 1st, 2010. Residents are asked to make use of these special waste collection services. This will enable this waste to be collected in a more efficient manner by spreading the quantities throughout the year. Residential clean up is collected on your regular garbage day and metals and white goods are collected on the last Friday of each month. There will also be a waste wood pick up on the first Friday of each month from April to November.
Collection of your waste will only be affected by a holiday if the holiday falls on the scheduled collection day. Please refer to your solid waste management schedule, or call WasteCo at 742-3490.
